The map below shows the location of The Dallas Nature Center, Cedar Hill State Park (with Penn Farm), Cedar Mountain Preserve and Windmill Hill Preserve. These local parks are all located in Southwest Dallas County and in our zone #1. Therefore, there are no zone fees associated with these locations.
Please note that Cedar Hill State Park charges $5 per person over the age of 12 years old unless you present a Texas Conservation Passport pass to the attendant at the entrance to the park.
Travel I-20 to FM 1382. Exit on FM 1382 & Go South for ~4 miles. The entrance to Cedar Hill State Park is well marked on the right.
Take Highway 67 South to the Main Street exit in Duncanville. Turn South onto Main. Main Street becomes Duncanville Road. After passing a gas station on the left, the road narrows. The next road encountered is Wintergreen road. The parking area for Windmill Hill Preserve is immediately on the left after Wintergreen road.
