Adventures In Observation
DESCRIPTION:
Wild Vision is a family owned organization dedicated to excellence in
environmental education. We offer 30
programs covering a broad range of topics. These exciting outdoor explorations are available for public and private
schools, day care centers, youth groups, families and individuals. Pricing for nature hikes conducted at Cedar Hill State Park,
Windmill Hill Preserve and Cedar Mountain Preserve are listed below. Walks may also be conducted at parks near you for an
additional fee (rate varies with distance from southwest Dallas). Well-trained and enthusiastic wildlife interpreters ensure a
positive environment for discovery.

*COST: $60 per Brownie Troop (up to 10 girls),
$70 per Junior/Senior Troop (up to 10 girls)
Groups larger than 10 girls add $3 per
additional girl. No charge for Safety-Wise ratio of adults - less than 1/3 the group size.
*For nature hikes conducted at Cedar Hill
State Park, Cedar Mountain Preserve, Dallas Nature Center and Windmill Hill
Preserve (Zone 1). For other zones - add the
zone charge to the program cost.
*Cedar Hill State Park now charges $5 per adult and children 12 & older, younger children are free. This charge does not
apply if you are a Texas Park & Wildlife Passport holder.
DETAILS: After your adventure with Wild Vision, your group is free to enjoy any amenities at the park. Many parks have
playgrounds, picnic areas with grills, free standing restrooms, and additional nature trails. Most groups plan a picnic before or
after the adventure. Reservations for overnight camp-outs at Texas State Parks are available by calling (512) 389-8900.
